HSC Board of Maharashtra has given sweet surprise to the students of XII standard by declaring XII results well in time. For some students who are still enjoying long vacation, the result may appear to be before time. I wish all the best to all the students of XII for their results.

Your result result of the HSC examination conducted in March 2015 will be declared online today at 1:00 pm. You can check the result at following websites.

1. www.mahresult.nic.in

3. You can also get result with statistics on this website www.mahresult.nic.in

Follow these steps to check the result on www.mahresult.nic.in 

1. Type your number without spaces in first input field. If your number is M12345, then type "M12345".
2. Then type first three letters of your mother's name in the second input field in capital letters. If your mother's name is Shailaja, then type "SHA"
3. Check the result of your handwork of the entire year.

If you have already registered for CA CPT, June 2015 or CSFC December 2015; then you are well on your mark. If on the other hand, you are waiting for HSC result to decide your course of action, then keep in mind these options available to your after XII.

1. Register for CA CPT, December 2015. Classes for the same will start from July 2015.
2. Register for CS Foundation, June 2016. Classes for the same will start from July 2015.
3. Enroll yourself graduation programmes of Mumbai University. You have variety of choices. You can opt for, Plain B Com or Bachelor in Accounting & Finance (BAF) or Bachelor in Banking & Insurance (BBI) or Bachelor in Management studies (BMS) or you can also opt for Bachelor in Financial Markets (BFM)
4. Classes for First year BCom, BAF, BBI, BMS will start on 20th June.
5. If you are good at practical subjects such as Accounts and Mathematics, then you may choose Plain BCom or BAF or BFM. On the other hand if you are good at theory subjects, then you many choose, BBI or BMS. 
6. If you are planning to do CA or CS, then I strongly recommend you to join Plain BCom, as it will give you necessary time to pursue your goal of CA or CS.
7. Note that except plain BCom, every other Bachelor degree course is offered as self financing course. It means, the fees of BAF, BBI, BMS and BFM will be higher than plain BCom.
8. All your Bachelor programmes from Mumbai University will be having semester pattern. Your three year bachelor programme is divided in 6 semester. The final degree will be awarded on the average marks of all the six semesters.
9. Remember that in all the courses for Bachelor programme of Mumbai University completed through college, 75:25 is the division of marks. It means 75 marks will be awarded by Mumbai University and 25 marks will be awarded by College.
10. The 25 marks by college are based on two tutorial exams of 10 marks each and balance 5 marks based on attendance and behaviour.

Congratulations to all of you for clearing your CS Foundation examination held in December 2014. Now, you must be planning for CS Executive course. I have found a lot of confusion among many students who come to the class for inquiry. Based on the questions repeatedly asked by the students, I have prepared these FAQs.

If you are planning to appear for both modules of CS Executive in December 2015, then the last date of registration for CS Executive is February 28, 2015. 
If you are planning to appear for only one module  of CS Executive in December 2015, then the last date of registration for CS Executive is May 31, 2015.

CS Institute does not require you to study the modules in any order. So you can study either both modules simultaneously or you can chose to study any module of your choice first.

If you have completed your graduation already, then I would recommend you to study both modules simultaneously. On the other hand, if you are still pursuing graduation, then I would recommend you to study one module at a time.

If you are planning to study only one module at a time, then I would recommend you to study Module I first for December 2015 attempt of CS executive.
The steps for you in this case are;

1. To study for your college examinations with full concentration. 
2. Before May 2015, register yourself for CS Executive course.
   
3. Start your studies for Module I of CS Executive, by May 2015.

Admissions for December 2015 CS Executive course are already started at More Classes. Orientation lectures for students joining us after Foundation course will start in May 2015 and full lectures will start from June 2015. 2014 is ending and 2015 is at the doorsteps. It is the time of the year, when one looks back to take stock of the past year and also plans for the future. So here I am analysing year 2014 for More Classes and planning for 2015.

The year of 2014 was full of activities and events at More Classes. To name a few achievements of ours,

• Following our tradition, the results of TYBCom March 2014 were excellent. Two of our students were the toppers in Model College and Mulund College of Commerce.

Parents Meeting of XII students was held on Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Discussion was made about XII studies, result of CPT/CSFC strength tests conducted in the Class and the modus operandi of CPT /CSFC lectures.

Following presentation was given in the meeting.

The important points discussed about XII were,

1. The syllabus is already completed for all commerce subjects
2. Revision lectures will be conducted for 3 days a week.
3. Language lectures will be conducted on Sunday & One more weekday
4. Revision Tests will be conducted on Every Thursday as per the time table given in the calendar diary
5. Tests will be of 2 hours, consisting of first 1/2 hour for objective tests and remaining 1.5 hour for descriptive tests.
6. Every week, the papers of last week will be distributed in the class and marks will be written by the professors in the calendar diary.
7. Extra lectures will be conducted in Diwali & Christmas vacation.
8. Prelims will be conducted in Decemebr as per the time table given.

The important points discussed about CPT / CSFC strength test were,

1. Test result was discussed in detail
2. Last date for CPT or CSFC admission is 15th July, 2014
3. Lectures will start from August.

Rechecking applications can be made after obtaining the original mark sheet on 26th June. The last date of application for rechecking is 5th July, 2014. Please note that application for rechecking can not be done on the basis of online mark sheet printout.

If you are interested in xerox copy of your answer book then the same can be obtained from 17th June to 7th July.

1. Choose IT / Hindi as your second language subject.
2. Choose maths if you love it, else SP is also scoring subject. (In fact our XII 2014 SP highest has scored 91/100 marks).
3. Whether Maths / SP, be ready to intelligent hard work.
4. Don't think too much about by-focal studies.
5. Plan for CPT or CSFC well in advance. These are good courses for developing understanding of commerce.

From this year on wards, Mumbai University has made it compulsory to get admissions to all its courses by online mode only. Following is the time table for online admission process,

1. Sale of application forms for online admissions : From 31st May to 14th June
2. Submission of Online Admission Form : From 2nd June to 16th June
3. Submission of copy of Online Admission form to College : 16th June to 19th June
4. 1st List of Admissions : 19th June 6:00 pm
5. Payment of Fees & verification of papers of students from 1st list of admissions : 20th June to 21st June up to 1:30 pm
6. 2nd list of Admissions : 21st June 6:00 pm

For the students who are planning to do Chartered Accountancy or Company Secretary Course, it is advisable to join plain BCom course. 

The self financing courses of BAF, BMS, BMM or BBI are more useful for the students who are not planning to do any professional course.

Admissions for FYBCom, CA CPT (December 2014) & CS Foundation (June 2015) are already started at Dombivli Branch of More Classes Commerce. 

Lectures for FYBCom shall start in 2nd week of June.  Lectures for CA CPT & CS Foundation shall start from 1st week of July.

Year 2013 is over. All cultural and extra curricular days in College are over.
